Watson Lake is a lake, but not originally. It was an airfield for a chain of airfields that Canada built and that would’ve been used in the Second World War since there were threats of Japan invading Alaska. I took a quick stop here and walked around the parks to see what the environment here was like, still cold but still beautiful with it’s calmer mountains.
